Liden & Denz, Language Center

Liden & Denz Intercultural Institute of Languages was founded in 1992 with the aim of providing first class Russian courses in a well structured setting. The task was not easy: Russia was about to change beyond recognition and nobody really quite knew, in which direction these changes were pointing.

More than ten years after our first students had received their certificates, we know that Russia’s integration in the world economy is well under way and a return to the Soviet days can safely be ruled out. Increasing student numbers are proof that learning Russian is considered a valuable asset today.

Our centre has grown remarkably over the years, giving work these days to over 50 dedicated members of staff. What has not changed since the early days is our commitment to quality, personal attention and customer care.

Liden & Denz Intercultural Institute of Languages is located in a central part of the city, a short walk from the Belorusskaya Railway Station, terminus for trains from Berlin and Warsaw. The school premises feature state of the art technology (including wireless internet), and will soon be equipped with a library and self-access centre.

The premises of our Moscow school are on the ground floor in a building that belongs to the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Most of the office space there is used by foreign diplomats and accredited correspondents of the international press. The closest metro station can be reached by foot in less than five minutes. Cafés, restaurants and shops are within easy reach.
